This year’s conference is September 29-October 1, 2017 and will be held on the campus of Lathrop High School/Ryan Middle School in Fairbanks. It is a JOINT conference with other content area organizations from Alaska. Each organization will have its own sessions and keynote speakers, but there will also be several joint speakers.
Registration is a two-step process. First, click here to register and pay. After completing that registration, follow the prompts to submit a second registration on the Cross Content Conference Website using a discount code that you receive upon submission of your first registration. On the second registration, you will have the option to purchase lunches and other special events.
The schedule has yet to be released. Our AFLA Keynote speaker will be Catherine Ousselin, and she will speak on Saturday at noon.
There will be sessions all day on Friday. FNSBD teachers are required to attend those sessions, but everyone else can plan to arrive and jump into the mix when they are able. The core portion of the conference will begin Friday evening as is typical.

8) Please submit a presentation proposal! The proposal page is a little confusing. Click here to go to the session proposal page (hosted by the Alaska Science Teacher’s website). You will need to click on the button that says “Register”. You will then enter your email and click ‘next’. At that point, you will be able to complete the proposal form.
